abs warning light

my 2000 chevy cavalier abs warning light has just come on at approximately 78,000 kilometers. I have read there has been problems with the wiring harness connection at the wheel speed sensor, The dealer has told me it may be the wheel bearing. Is there a fault code that will tell me of a bad connection at the sensor? What else could it be?
Thanks

There should be a code but it will address a particular circuit not just a connection. The problem could be a wire/connector,hub bearing or the abs brake control module or even a low or wrong size tire. You need a scan tool to read the codes on the abs system. The local autoparts code reader will not read those codes. If you are real ambitious you could have the code read swap the left and right hub bearings, drive the car until the light comes back on and have the codes read again. If the problems switches sides it's the bearing if not it's elsewhere.
