Emergency Brake Cable F-150

Vehicle: 1995 F-150 4x4 Manual Trans. 302
I'm pretty good around a vehicle and have done a few DIY repairs successfully, but this one is new for me. Front emergency brake cable is broken. Any special tools needed (or aside of a needing the strength to hook it back up under the vehicle) anything I need to know? Thanks in advance.

Cable replacement

Disconnect the cable conduit from the parking brake control by inserting a 1/2" 12 point box end wrench over the conduit snap fitting to compress the retaining fingers on the cable. Pull cable out of emergency brake control. The other end is pretty easy to remove and install. Hope this info helps.
