Replacing Battery Cable 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix

Hello again...2000
My battery cable was so corroded that the cable connection to the battery fell off. Can I replace it or do you recommend a shop do it...

If you think you can handle it and have the tools go for it.

easy

Good thing that saftey cover is easy to replace.Just make sure you take off the neg side cable first so you do not short the wrench to ground. While the cables are off it is a good time to clean the cables and connections.Auto Zone might carry the saftey cover for a buck or two.
