'89 Ford Aerostar has problems

When driving home last night the engine died. The engine cranks but doesn't turn over. This happened a week ago and I let it sit for a couple of minutes and then it fired up. During that time, I had to rev the engine to keep it going. Afterward, it ran fine. Until last night.

Last night my gauges read normal for temp, full for gas (I just filled up yesterday) but nothing on oil pressure (understandable since the van was dead?)

I replaced the fuel filter tonight thinking it could be that. Doesn't seem to have made a difference. Still can't get it to turn over.

Could it be the fuel pump?

Any suggestions?

You need to find what your missing:

Spark, fuel etc.

You need to read the sticky "Read This Note Before Posting"
