Sticking Accelerator '98 Camry

Sticks while trying to move from a stop. Enough foot presure will cause car to lunge foward. Never sticks while car is in motion. I have greased and lubed linkage and all cables that I can see.

clean...

...or have the throttle body cleaned by someone. the blade is sticking in the throttle bore due to buildup. this is pretty normal and the service is normally performed during tune up.

old rags...

...some kind of carb spray and an old toothbrush work best. clean it clean as a whistle on the blade, walls and corners where the shaft passes thru. be careful not to flood the TP sensor as you may damage it

Finally got around to cleaning the throttle body intake just as you said. Worked Great! No more sticking. It was bad enough to have to adjust my drive habits from a stop. Great to be able to drive normal again. Thanks a ton!
