Rust on rear wheel arch need help

Rust on rear wheel arch need help

I have a 93 Clio which has some surface rust on the front of the rear wheel arch, as i have neer tackled external rust before i could do with some advice.

Well, the rust must be removed
How much rust you have, and where it is located will determine the best way(s) to go about it
Is it a big spot? Lots of little ones? All over the fender? The size of your thumbnail? That sort of thing

rust on arches

It is towards the front of the arch, approx 8" in lenght and looks as though it is just on the surface, the paint work is lifting up and bit, sna it doesn't seem to be any deeper than that at the moment.
