Ungreased fitting.

Ive inherited a 1997 Dodge Intrepid that the previous owner said had no grease fittings. It does have one fitting and that is where the steering (pittman?) arm goes over to the right wheel. I dont think this fitting has ever been greased (except maybe initially.) I was able to force some grease into it with a manual gun, but I really had to lean on it to do it. It doesnt appear to have any excess play in it, but Im wondering if there is something else I should do with this fitting, besides make sure it gets greased religiously from now on.

I have had these types of dry joints before and probably the best and easiest thing is to drive the car for a week and re-grease. Sometimes the movement of the car while driving will allow the grease to move further in to the joint.
