Dodge Ram Starter fuse
I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel that blows the starter fuse when I crank the engine during cold weather. It also seems to have excessive amperage discharge during warm up. the headlights will dim whenever I hear a something click on the engine. Any help would be appreciated.

Might be Starter comlete unit or Starter solenoid. Check for corroded wire from battery to starter.

Does not seem to be the starter or loose or corroded terminals. Starter works fine as long as it is above 50 degrees. There is no unusual noise or operation. when the temp is be;ow 30 degrees the fuse blows prior to starter operation.
