motor flush

have a 95 merc villianger van with 140,000 on it and has a 6 in it.when i take the oil cap off you can see some sluge in there,since we had the van we change the oil every 3000 but it dont look like it is coming out much.is there anything i can put in there and try to get some of it out.

I think that the usual engine flushes on the market are more harmful than beneficial. Take a look at this product: http://www.auto-rx.com/index.html

Although I have used Engine Flush with success, I really can't recomend it
I knew the risks I was taking and was fully prepared to open up the engine and do it right if the Flush didn't work
Some risks are loosening a glob that plugs your oil pump pickup, and stripping the build-up off seals where the build up was keeping them from leaking
