1987 ford ecnoline van - 250

hi,
as stated above i have a 1987 ford econo-line van.

my side mirrors. i feel are to small. i can't see very well when i back out.

i bought hot spot mirrors that i placed on the regular side mirrors, they work a bit better put it still is not great.

i have been searching the web for the taller side mirrors and have been getting so frustated in finding a web site where i can look at them.

i have also been looking at towing mirros, not that i tow, but those that i have come up with are also very small.

any suggestions? thank you.

I've had great luck with odd/custom/oversize mirrors at NAPA
You have to walk in and look though, online won't do it
Also big truck stops, the stores in some are excellent

i will have to check it out, thanks.

i would suppect it's not that hard to echange te mirrors.

i was looking at the bottom post on the mirror and it looks like it take a
square screw driver to undo the old mirror and then just stick a new
in it's place.

i don't believe i will have to mess with the bracket.

thanks again

You will probably have to replace the entire bracket, and mirror and maybe even drill some new holes because the larger aftermarket mirrors arent going to be designed to fit like your old original equipment mirrors. You should be able to find new mirrors anywhere you can buy parts. Advance, AutoZone or whatever your local parts store is.
Hope this helps ya,
Billy
