Couple of questions:
1. Where did you have the codes checked?
2. Have you already done basic tune-up preventive maintenance: Plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor?
3. How good of mechanical condition is the truck in: Leaks, burning any oil, using oil/coolant?
4. Has the O2 sensor ever been replaced?

On the under hood spec decal jump out the terminal that it states for timing check in the check connector. Te and E1 and read the blinks of the check engine lite with the key on.
Is it a 4 or 6?
