tired workhorse f 150
an '83 f-150 w/ 110 k
has typical body and frame rust of those fords from that era but starts and runs on a killer (knock wood) 300 c.i. in line six
the power brake boost has a vacuum gasket leak
can hear it all the time but doesn't affect braking quality
can i let it go or is it risky?
hard to fix?undefined

Theres no gasket. Either you have a leaking hose to the booster or you have a busted diaphram in the booster. Either way, you need to get it looked at ASAP. Without the vacuum boost, you could have very poor braking. The brakes will be very hard without the assistance of the boost.

Brakes are a saftey issue and should not be blown off just like a steering component is.Would be a real drag if you crashed and hurt someone or smashed a high dollar car because you have no power brakes.
