i have a 98 ford f150xlt with a factory 6 disk changer that is very sencetive if i hit a small bump or hole it stops working & ihave to eject & start over. can this be fixed easley?

well that all depends on a: where the changer is located and how difficult it would be to access it.

has it always skipped that much, or is this a new problem? Cd players and changers have a tendency to skip if they are not mounted tightly. Also, try cleaning the laser lense. If either of these solutions do not work, sounds like a mechanical defect. You may want to look into buying a new changer from an electronics store. Factory changers can cost a pretty penny.
