Cool Defrost

I have a 1986 Mazda B2000 PU that the defroster has stopped working on. I can't get any air to come out of the defroster outlets up by the windshield. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong & how to fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it makes it kinda rough driving with frost on the windshield here in Iowa in the winter time.

Thank You,
Glenn

My first guess would be the actuator for the defroster door causing the problem. If the actuators are vacuum operated, I would be looking for a kinked or torn/rotted vac. line.

Does it shift between floor and vent?Sounds like a stuck mode door because most vehicles default to defrost mode when they fail. You are going to have to move them manually(by hand) to find the problem. If you have the slide levers with cables one of the cables may have broken or fallen off.
