I have a fuel pump problem. I replaced the fuel pump, and now it wont pump. So we replaced the relay switch, it worked for a minute, but as soon as we mounted it, it stopped working. Any suggestions?

Both of my GM cars (89 Celebrity and 90 6000) Ive had the same problem. The hot wire (orange) at the relay had broken inside its insulation. On the 6000 I even had 12v with the multitester, but what was left of the wire was so thin that it couldnt pull enough amps to run the pump. Very easy and free fix. Id be checking out those wires. Good luck.
