Where is the HEATER CONTROL VALVE located on a 96 GMC SAFARI VAN.

Open the hood and look on the passenger side near the firewall.That is where you should find it.

i went to autozone.com and i went to compoent locations and it said

HEATER CONTROL VALVE

Sorry, no component locations were found that matched your search



So if there isnt one why cant i changed it to vents or defrost or ac or any of those?

If the vent positions don't change between floor and defrost you need to check for a broken plastic hose.It runs in front of the throttle body to the intake and out through the firewall.
