moisture in headlamp

moisture in headlamp

I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid. The right headlamp assembly is "weeping". A lot of moisture is inside the assembly, but it isn't poolong yet. Short of sheeling out $250+ for a new assembly, and that's from a salvage yard, is there a way to seal off the housing and stop the moisture buildup?

Instead of try to reseal the housing, how about drilling couple holes (1/8 ")on the bottom of the lamp for it drain out and save a few bucks. Do not reseal the drain holes.

headlamp moisture

Actually I did that on my wife's old Caravan. Worked fine but I thought I'd check and see if there anythng better.
