Question Power Steering

Hello, anyone got any ideas about my powersteering? Ok, when I first bought my truck, an 87 Dodge 4x4 Mini Ram truck the steering wheel squeaked! Needless to say I decided to check the flid and it was dry! I just kept filling it when it was low for like the past 2 years. I had put stop leak in it quite a long time ago, like 6 months ago. Now it reads full on the dipstick but the stearing wheel is squeeking once in a while? Does anyone think just maybe I have a power steering hose that could be clogged?? Any way I can perform some kind of test to see what's going on?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!! Jack

Your pump probably has had it. Running dry will of course ruin it. Pick up a new one from a local parts store. Call around and get the best price. Junk yards around here are super cheap, so you could do that if they are a lot cheaper. If not, just buy a new one.
