1990 Ford F-150 Problem

I have a 1990 Ford F-150 with a 5.0 A/T with a 103,000 miles on it. Just recently it started hesitating or jumping while driving. It only does it ever once in a while and it does not seem like the transmission. When you give it gas it like hesitates or sort of like jerks on me. It does it when you are given it gas. The check engine light is not on and it seems to be doing it more often. I would like to know maybe were to start. Thanks

1)Check the TP sensor (throttle position sensor) sometimes these wont give a code in the EEC system.
2)Fuel pressure

Check for codes
The EEC-IV may be storing some and not lighting up the Check Engine Light (common with this vintage EEC-IV)

I am the original poster, and my truck did it real bad today, have not had time to look at it yet. But I noticed it does it the worst at slow speeds when I am pushing the gas down to speed up. Is there a way to check the codes or do you have to buy a reader or take to shop? Thanks
