1997 Chevy Tahoe

I have a 1997 chevy tahoe 4x4. The Engine Idles Great the 4 wheel drive switches work great ( hi,low) and the transmision seems to shife fine.
My problem is when I put it in drive and go up to speed when it reaches
30 mpg it starts to rumble as I go faster it hisitates to ge up to 60 then
when I put it in nuteral gear at 60 the rumble goes away but the minute
I put it back in gear the rubble and hisitation come right back.
What could this be? Before I take it into the dealer and he tells me some
expensive problem.

Rumble & hesitation or rumble & vibration If the last one, it may be a 'u'-joint. Let us know if you feel a vibe, hear a noise or wait for a hesitation
