2000 ford taurus

i installed an amp in my car and after i was done installing my car would't crank. all the blinkers ,lights.etc... work but the engine will not rotate.i've checked all my fuses and wiring,everything seems ok. does anyone know of anything else i could check?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but try to pull the hot wire (from the amp) off the battery supply. You could have something grounded in your wiring.

Also, if you hooked the amp directly to the battery, then you could have created less connection for your battery to starter setup, which starts your car.

After you installed the amp, did you run the battery down from listening to the radio with the engine off?

Check battery voltage, or take to auto store and have it checked.
