No brake lights.

Have a 1998 Ford Ranger that brake lights, all three, stopped working.
Checked fuses, all OK.
Checked all bulbs just in case, all OK.
Can anyone give me an idea what could be causing the problem or ideas to
find the problem.
TIA.

If the switch isn't under the dash (above the brake pedal), it could be at the master cylinder, activated by fluid pressure.

Otherwise the problem could be in lead connector of the wiring in the rear.

Brake switch should be at the brake pedal. Relatively cheap and easy to replace. Do it sooner because it also cuts off your cruise control, so if it goes your cruise stays on even after you hit the brakes (of car was made before a certain year).
