Winnebago Problem

Message:
My battery went flat in my Winnebago Warrior RV and I tried to start the engine with another battery, but I connected the wrong way round and there was a flash and a smell of burn coming from somewhere behind the engine. When I connected up correctly there were no lights on the dashboard and everything was dead, the engine would not crank. Can somebody please tell me what damage could I have done. I am from Ireland and there arent many of these engines here.

Thank you Sean Batt

Don't know who's engine you have, but at the very least check for blown fuses or burnt fuse links.
