1998 Cadillac power window

My front driver side power window does not work (sometimes.)
the other 3 windows work fine.
I am trying to get into the switches in the driver arm restBut, I don't know how toremove the cover amd/or the switch covers to see if the wires have come loose.
.I got the cover off . there is power going to the driver side switch and when when I unplug the switch ,then all the other windows do not work.
So can it be that specific switch or where it is plugged into the driver side window motor??
How does the driver side panel come off? I don't want to break anything..

Remove all visible screws and look for covers that might be hiding any screws. Start in the corner and pull on the panel. There are plastic retainers around the door panel. They just pop out when you pull on them. Most likely you have a motor or regulator going bad. It is normal for the other windows to not operate with the MASTER switch disconnected. When does the window operate? When you smack the door? That would indicate a loose connection or a motor going bad.
Hope this helps ya,
