Read the directions. Some brands may be better than others. As long as the hole is not too large it will work.

use small amount first

the directions may say to put half the bottle in. If the leak is small or if it is a rim leak, a small amount will work. a larger amount will also work, but it will make your tire out of balance and vibrate.

This is not the proper way to repair or prevent leaks. The Tire manufacture assoc has repair guide lines for tires. Punctures are to be patched and plugged. They make special combo patch-plugs that accomplish this in one step. Each repair lowers the speed rating one class.

Can cause all kinds of problems like balancing or tire failure.
