Exhaust for a 1991 GMC Truck

My parents gave me the old "farm truck" recently and I noticed that the exhaust was pretty loud. When I asked my dad about it he said that they had some work done on the muffler systema few years back and they put replacement pipes on it that were too small.

I think I can repair it up but how do I determine just how big to go?

Just get the parts it calls for at the auto parts store and you will be fine.Replace all the ones that were replaced with the "wrong"parts before.

Go with 3inch all the way back and remove the cat if your state doesn't require it. You will get more power.
