Car dies
My son has a 91 Geo Metro 1.0, 3 cyl Fuel
Injection, 5 sp Man Trans. Car starts and runs
but dies after it starts to warm up. Won't
restart till it gets cold again. Any ideas?

Why it could be a coil
The idea behind a coil is that there are two sets of wound wires or coils. The first set has a current running through it from the battery. When this current is broken, a magnetic field running through the first coil collpases over the second coil which has more windings, and creates a very high voltage. If the coil is bad, when the wires get hot, they will allow for a short to form and will not allow the magnetic field to collapse correctly, and your spark plugs will not receive a high engough volatge to spark or ignite the fuel. When they cool, the problem will dissappear until the wires get hot again.
