1994 Toyota Camry Rear mount

1994 Toyota Camry 110k 4 cylinder.

Rear motor mount is bad, popping noise and is leaking.

Is this difficult to replace? Toyota dealer estimates $460.

Thanks

Sure it's not the front (common), never seen a rear bad.

About $150-$200 for the mount and not that hard to change.

The rear mount is leaking. The front is not. How do you test the mounts?

What would I need to replace the rear mount?

Thanks

The rear is visible only underneath, the front is by the oil filter. The front is silicone filled and extends on accel and makes noise when bad and over extending. The rear compresses on accel.

The rear mount is leaking. The noise is a loud clunk sound on accel and a softer clunk after you let off the gas.

Is it dangerous to drive right now?

Also how hard is it to replace?

Thanks

A little harder than the front. You have to jack up and support the engine to change it. You will be working underneath the vehicle so you need to jack it high and support with jack stands.
