Marvel Mystery Oil

Does Marvel Mystery Oil really help vehicles or is the label as full of B.S. as your average political speech?

Oh it helps, it just depends on what kind of help you need
As long as you don't think it's "tune-up in a can"... (it's not)
If an engine's been sitting awhile, if it has some slight ticking (not due to mechanical failure), if it's the oil's a little sludgey...
I use it often in older cars for specific reasons
I've often dumped some down the throat of a carb
Sometimes they need that

Don't use it on newer cars as much, but I'll put some in the gas tank if the injectors are getting noisy

Years ago I had a friend who's girlfriend ran her car dry-out of oil
Engine seized up and she's on the side of the road
We put a couple of quarts of MMOil and got it going
Ran for a couple of years after that

I use MMO to lube all my air tools
Craftsman Air Tool Oil is actually rebadged MMO

I have used MMO in the past for sticky lifters and it did the job every time. Recently my sons friend bought a used 373 stroker motor and it ran like crap. I suggested that he put in some MMO since ithe motor had been sitting......runs like a champ now. I'm not sure what you are going to use it for, but for sticky lifters and cleaning out your engine, I would recommend it.

My truck has sat for quite a while before I bought it and figured that some internal cleaning might be a good idea. Thank you much for the advice.
