Question Replaced lower intake in 93 explorer now it sputters and backfires

I replaced the lower intake gasket in my 93 ford explorer due to a serious water leak. After putting it back together it runs really rough and backfires. I thought maybe the fuel had sat too long (it took a while to fix) and added STP but it didn't fix it. I'm not sure if the plug wires could be bad or just not in order. It has a coil not a distributer. I can't find a good diagram that shows the proper plug order and don't know how to test without a distributer. Any suggestions about the plugs or if replacing the gasket could have caused the problem? It ran great until the leak.

If the spark plug wires are in the wrong order it would act as you say
I'd double check that
What engine is in there?
autozone.com probably has the firing order
