Tire direction ????

While rotating tires on a friends car a few days ago we relized that the arrows that show the direction in which the tire should rotate was pointing the wrong way. Is it dangerous to drive a car like this. To rotate the tires properly we have no choice but to go against the suggested rotation. The car is a Hyn Accent and not being driven aggressively. Oh yeah the tires are winter tires (Half worn out). The only reason we noticed was because of the louder road noice created be the tires.

Yes I would say itís dangerous. The tire is not designed to run in the opposite direction.

Just one possibility, if the tread is designed to expel water if rotating the wrong way it could trap it instead.

toyotaman is right. If the car came with directional tires the owners manual will tell you how to rotate.
