92 Chev Cavalier

I have a hole in my transmission pan and a bad dent in my oil pan. How easy or hard is it to replace the transmission pan? After I find another pan that is...

The trans pan is not bad. Just remove the bolts and off it comes, with about 4 quarts of transmission flluid. If you're gonna replace it anyway drill a small hole into it to let the flluid out.
The engine oil pan is a different story and don't recommend trying it yourself.

Replacing a transmission pan is usually real easy. Change the filter and all the transmission fluid while you are at it. Probably the hardest part (and it's not that hard) is torquing down the pan bolts in the right order so as not to warping the pan.
