Unhappy How to pull out the Radio from 1999 Honday CR-V?

Hi Experts here,

My battery was died and I changed a new one. However, my radio requires a code to re-activate. I'm the 2nd owner and I didn't have the original code. I heard that you can bring your car to Honda and they can look it up for you. However, if we pulled out the radio by ourselve so that they can read the serial number on the back of the radio, then there is no charge. However, if you need them to pull it out the check the code for you, it's $90 charge.

So if anyone can kindly tell me how to pull out the radio, I'd greatly appreciate.

from what I can tell, you need to remove the center panel that contains the radio. Look all around for screws. Remove the ash tray if it is located above or below the radio and look for screws there. Once you have all of the screws removed gently pull out on the center panel. The radio should come with it and give you the access you desire to get to the serial number.
Good Luck,
