Question 93 Suburban AC acting up

My old GM AC actually works fine, until you sit in traffic.

Then it lopes up and down and feels like it's gonna stall.

In the driveway I watched the AC clutch cycling on and off about every
five seconds. This is after we're warmed up.

It's blowing cold, don't think it's low on freon.

Anyone got any ideas on this one? Vaccuum leak????? Where???

As always, thanks for the input!!!

Rule of thumb for a//c is, if it blows cold, it ain't broke.
Sounds like you have an idling issue, made worse when the air is turned on.
Fuel pressure is the first thing that I would check. 9-13 psi is spec.
