97 honda accord trouble code

Got a 97 Accord w/ 2.7 V6. changed water pump. Timing belt too. Now have check engine light. Car won't rev past 3500-4000 rpm. Put launch brand code reader and got a 1361 code. Code means Electronic Ignition Timing Bypass Circuit Malfunction. Have no idea what to make of it. Any ideas.

Just guessing....make sure camshaft position and crankshaft position sensors are connected and secure, or any other sensors you may have disconnected. If the car doesn't have the power it used to, besides the rev problem, be sure the belt was installed correctly, timing marks lined up right.

k well that's exactly what I was thinking. as for the timing I'm 100% sure it's on. The marks were perfect and they stayed so through 2-4-6 revolutions. i must have knocked something loose. i'm gonna get under there tommorow and check it out. thanks for the help.
