Unhappy How to absorb water from car leather interior??

We have an Accord with leather interiors. Its just one year old. My husband forgot to close the window overnight and it rained that night. As a result the seat became the wet. We were shocked to see that we forgot to close the window . Immediately, we wiped out all the water from the car seat. But still I guess the padding has water. Unfortunately there is no sunshine today, so that we could dry out our car.
1.I would like to know how to absorb water from the seat padding?
2.Will the water damage the leather? even after drying?

I would really appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks a ton in advance.
