I have a '95 Windstar LX with 117K miles which has an annoying squeek/rubbing sound when turning. Does anyone have any remedies which I could investigate taking on fixing myself?
I'll bet you have a siezed outter tie rod end. Get an assistant to turn the steering wheel while you listen @ the front tires. Changing them is not a big deal, but you will have to adjust the "toe" after.
