To Saturn and Back...

Trying to change the CV Joints on a 92 SL2 Saturn. I have followed the manual and did everything they said. Splined end still won't come out of the wheel hub. Tried prying the ball joint assembly out of the steering knuckle, that don't work. I'm about ready to put the tire back on and roll it out the door, down the bank, and into the pond across the street! Is there another approach to this? So far it's been like pullin' teeth on a gorilla!

screw the nut on the end of the shaft so you won't damage the threads and use a large hammer to get it started out of the hub wd 40 or something similuar would also likely help as it is probably rusted with the hub.
