Window Lift Motor 1990 Aerostar

I am replacing the window lift motors on the driver and passenger side. I got the door panel off, but there is no way that I can see how to get to the motor. Has anyone done this before? I see no bolts or anything like that. Thanks.

Generally the oem motor is held on with very large rivets that you have to drill out. Be sure the window itself is supported before you remove the motor. The replacement motor can be installed with common hardware, but use self-locking nuts.

Been there done that. The door panel has dimples in it where you have to drill out to acess the 8mm screws holding the motor in place. The three dimples are like small indentions in the door panel that are in line with the screws. start with a small bit then get bigger untill you can get the socket to the screws, unbolt unplug the wires and remove the motor.
