ford ranger clutch replacement

i am looking into purchasing an '88 ford ranger 2wd regular cab. based on a test drive, i believe it needs a new clutch, and i was wondering how hard it would be to replace it, and if it could be done in my driveway?

They are not that bad. call your ford dealer and get a labor only estimate. if they say the book says 2 or 3 hours then that would give you an idea of the time it would take you(add and hour or too for your time).

You gotta drop the tranny
It's kinda heavy
But with a helper it's really not too bad
