No power in 84 Nissan Maxima

My kid has a 84 Nissan Maxima. He went out to start it & there is no power to anything. Checked the battery & cables & they are in good shape. Any help would be appreciated.

The body style of the 88 has a distribution box for power, the cable off the battery goes about a foot into a box of fuses and relays. Trace the power to see if you have power to the first dist. box and out of the box.

84 Maxima

Have traced wiring & found no breaks. The car ran fine the night before & when he went out the next morning there was no power to anything, no lights, no horn, nothing.

Check for corrosion at the battery terminals, and make sure the terminals are tight around the posts. Look for a main fuse, in the distribution box, and see it it is blown. Also try jump starting it. Did you trace the wires just visually or with a voltage meter?
