First off why are you changing it ? Most oil pumps don't go out until the engine is shot too. How many miles on the motor? is it 4.3 ltr?

Get a repair manuel, it will tell you step by step. It will tell you if exhaust have to come off or if the motor mounts have to come off and raise the engine slightly to give the oil pan enough clearance to come out. the biggest part is getting the pan off the oil pump is easy to replace.

But as i said if your changing the oil pump because of an oil pressure issue then it might not fix the problem.
