95 Honda Accord Cooling Fan Won't Shut Off

The cooling fan on my 95 Accord won't shut off. The only way I get it to turn off is by pulling the fuse. If I leave it on, it runs until the battery is drained. Any idea on what would cause this and is there some sort of switch or relay I can replace?

The relay is stuck. I believe there is a box under the hood with relays and fuses wit some indication on it as to which belongs to the fan. Your owners manual may be of some help. Pull it, go the the dealer and they will give you a new one. All the relays may not all be the same and the aftermarket is not likely to supply the exact one.

Edit -- They will not *give* you a new one, of course unless you *give* them some cash

I believe that car has a temp sensor in the radiator. Look for a two wire switch on the radiator and unplug it and see if your fan stops. This switch is hot all the time and will cause what you describe.
