89 ford f150

i have a 89 ford 150 101000 miles lately when i stop the engine light comes on and the oil pressue gauge needles go,s to below low truck don,t stall and if i give it gas go,s back to normal and only dose it after i drive about 15 miles or warms up i guess any help on this thanks tony

Hundred dollars says it is a 5.0 engine. Time to pull the pan and hope the oil pump screen is plugged. Not a fun job, especially if it is four wheel drive. Those engines had a weak oiling system to the crank and by your description it sounds like bearing wear. A screen will usually lose pressure while cruising, not at idle. If the screen is clean, put a pump and screen in it and get yourself some 20w-50 oil and plan on replacing the engine.

and only dose it when come to a stop aaand not all the time some days never

Hows the oil level on the dipstick?
The light will come on at hard stops if it's a little low on oil
Some vehicles a quart low will do it
If the specs say 5 quarts, make sure it gets 5 quarts, even if the dipstick reads full after 4 quarts are put in
