Question 1993 Pontiac Grand Am

This morning I was driving to come to work, the car was driving good and smooth as usual, I forgot something went back home to get it, got back in the car and when I went to reverse and put it into drive I felt something happen, it got really unstable, shaky, and slow, like it wanted to stall or something, but didn't. I wasn't sure what happened so I attempted to keep driving and it could barely accelerate, and still shaky and unstable, so I knew I couldn't drive, obviously, in that condition. I was thinking the spark plugs, or something, but I have no clue about cars. I would appreciate all information regarding my problem.

Sounds like either your catalytic converter has been bad for some time, and just became clogged.

Or your fuel pump is about to go.
