99 blazer a/c problem

I have a 1999 blazer, 2 door 2wd v6 s-10 blazer. My a/c isn't cooling at all. I checked the compressor and it wasn't turning. I tried putting some 134a in but didn't wan't to charge it too much without the compressor running. Now that I've added refrig. the clutch on the compressor cycles on and off. It comes on at 65lbs and cuts off at 15. I tried jumpering out the clutch cutout switch on the compressor but it doesn't even cycle then. The two relays I've found were good. Is there another relay or something exse I can do?

You need to charge it more. On a typical 75-85 degree day, the clutch should cycle very little, if at all. The low side pressure should be around 35-45 with the compressor on. First off though, I would get the leak fixed. AC systems do not use up refrigerant. If it is low, you have a leak.

I did charge it more and my a.c. is working fine now. I'm going to continue to monitor the pressure and look for signs of dye from refrigerant leaking. Thanks for your response..........john
