Real Ac Problem

With An 88 S 10 Chev Blzr I Replaced The Compressor,dryer And Orfice Tube.......it Just Isn't Getting Quit Cold Enough...what Else Could It Be???

We need more information. Why were the parts replaced in the first place? What diagnostics were done? Did you stay with original r12 or convert to r134? How was it recharged? Did you use vacuum the system and use gauges to recharge? Give us some more history.

ORIGINAL R 12 COMPRESSOR STARTED MAKING ALOT OF NOISE...LESS ABLE TO COOL.....COMPRESSOR LEAKED.....PUT A HEAVY DUTY SEALER IN AND CHANGED OVER TO R 134A......DROVE 2 SUMMERS WITH WITH OK COOLNESS...PUMP GOT LOUDER AND LESS COOL AS TIME WENT ON ..THIS YEAR DECIDED TO GET A NEW PUMP AND DRYER/ACCUMALATER VACUMMED THE SYSTEM BUT NOT VERY LONG...NEW PUMP LOCKED UP....GOT ANOTHER NEW PUMP TOOK IT TO A SHOP....HAD IT FLUSHED VACCUMED AND FILLED....ALSO A NEW ORFICE TUBE......COOL BUT JUST NOT ENOUGH.....THE MECHANIC SAID PUMP IS WORKING FINE..PRESSURE IS GOOD LOW ,MAYBE A LITTLE UP ON THE HIGH SIDE ...NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY...THANK YOU.

well r134a is not as good as the r12 as far as cooling capacity. Better for the environment though. with any retro, you can expect a small decrease in performance.
