Toyota Previa, unknown problem

I have a 1992 Toyota Previa Van. It has little over 200K miles. Everything is in good working condition. I drive about 40 miles a day.

This afternoon, while leaving my work, the van started fine. But when I put in drive, it would not move. Every time I pressed the gas, made me feel like it was going to die on me. For about 5 minutes it did that and would barely move. Then it started moving and I drove home, without any problem. Not sure what happened or what caused that problem.

Does it sound like bad gas, clogged fuel injecter or fuel filter? Any ideas.

Thanks

if the engine revved when you pressed the gas I would say check the transmission fluid. Your transmission could be slipping. If the motor almost died when you pressed the gas I have no idea.

Must have been poor quality gas. I purchased gas from a gas station I had never purchased gas before and therefore think gas was contaminated. I have not had the problem again. Have drived several hundred miles since then.
