Question Hyperactive turn signal

I drive a 1984 Toyota Tercel SR5 station wagon, with more than 220,000 miles, five-speed transmission and four-wheel drive. Today, I noticed the left turn signal was flashing at least twice as fast as the right one. There are no other electrical problems. The air-conditioner works fine as does the radio and CD player, interior light, emergency flashers and headlights. Ideas? Much thanks.

Replace defective bulb to find it easy turn on emergency flashers and walk around the car one if them will be not working.

Mr. Michael, thank you for the advice. It fixed the problem. I replaced the burned-out left front turn-signal bulb and decided to do the same with the right one, which I'm keeping as a spare. Take care.
