Smile ABS PROBLEM 01 SILVERADO "Feed Back"

Remember the problem I was having with my ABS system kicking in just before coming to a complete stop? Well,as mentioned to bejay,I was going to start working my brakes harder and it payed off! I noticed uneven wear on the inside right rotor and pad while I had everything apart cleaning the rust from under the sensors, which did not help.To me this caliper looked as though it was not doing its share of stopping the truck. So as a test,I started waiting to start braking so as to have to apply really firm pressure on the pedal while stopping.Do you know what, the ABS system no longer kicks in even when applying the brakes like I use to,easy like. This is not my style of braking like I am used to but it solved my problem with no money out of my pocket!

wheel bearing?

It could possibly be slight wear on the wheel bearing (mine was 1997 GMC Sierra 4x4) just enough to trip the ABS. The bearings are pretty pricey though.
